Auxiliary chemicals for sheetfed offset
VARN Aqua Conditioner
Restoring hardness to water after reverse osmosis or desalination.
What should you look out for?
Does not replace buffer. Determine the dose based on water parameters.
Choose offset printing additives for a defined production problem. Compare products for water preparation, foam control and ink adjustment. Follow the instructions for the selected preparation and application.
Check also the full range of VARN chemicals and general offer of WIT printing chemicals.

Determine the problem and place of application. Auto wash water, dampening solution and inking unit require different products. A similar name of the preparation does not mean the same use.
Aqua Conditioner is used to prepare appropriate water. Aqua Plus supports automatic washing. Defoamer reduces foam in dampening. Do not interchange these additives or add them all to one tank.

Auxiliary chemicals for sheetfed offset
Additive for automatic washing water tanks; supports wetting and removal of dirt.
Add the preparation to the washing water at a concentration of 5%. Do not add it instead of a hydration buffer.

Auxiliary chemicals for sheetfed offset
Reducing foam in the dampening solution.
Add 10 ml of the preparation per 100 l of solution. First check the cause of the foaming.

Auxiliary chemicals for sheetfed offset
Lubrication of rollers of inactive inking units during machine operation.
Do not use on EPDM. Do not use for food packaging without a functional barrier.

Auxiliary chemicals for sheetfed offset
Lubrication of EPDM rollers of inactive units in a UV system.
Do not interchange it with regular Roller Lube. Check the filling method in the card.

Auxiliary chemicals for sheetfed offset
Reducing the ink tray and improving ink placement when the process requires correction.
First check the ink, substrate and temperature. Agree on the dose and compatibility for your ink.

Auxiliary chemicals for sheetfed offset
Reducing ink skin formation on rollers, ink duct and container.
Confirm compatibility with specific ink and method of application. Do not assume compatibility with all UV inks.
When foaming, check the composition of the solution and contamination of the circuit. If there is a problem with the tray, check the ink, temperature and substrate. The add-on will not replace valid process or proper settings VARN buffer.
For inactive assemblies, adjust the formulation to the rubber. Roller Lube and UV Roller Lube are not interchangeable. Determine the refilling time, method of application and removal of the preparation in accordance with the card and the machine’s instructions.
No. Confirm its compatibility with the ink, substrate and requirements of the finished print. When packaging food, consider the entire system and documentation constraints, including functional barrier requirements.
Describe the problem, type of ink, roller rubber and place of planned application. WIT will confirm the correct variant, packaging, availability and pricing. We set the price for a specific product and quantity.
No. First identify the symptom and check the press settings, ink and fountain solution. Then test one justified change. Otherwise, you cannot tell which addition helped or which one caused a new problem.
No. It can address foam within its intended application, but cannot replace correct concentration or maintenance. Therefore, inspect aeration, contamination and dosage first. Follow the selected product instructions when an addition is justified.
