Super Blue anti-marking jackets for sheet transfer

Compare Super Blue anti-marking jackets for sheet transfer and delivery cylinders. Match the variant to your press and application. Check the differences between Original, Super Blue 2, 2LT and Blue Glass.

Super Blue mesh or Blue Glass foil?

Variant When to consider it? What to check?
Super Blue Original You are replacing the mesh in an existing system. Backing, fasteners and proper clearance.
Super Blue 2 You need mesh with a conductive backing. Full kit or replacement part?
Super Blue 2LT You prefer to replace the integrated set. Variant and number of elements per cylinder.
Blue Glass You need a washable film with glass microspheres. Ball size, thickness and mounting method.

Replacement mesh for existing system

Super Blue Original

Select Original when replacing the mesh on the transfer or delivery cylinder. The stretchable fabric protects the wet side of the sheet from marking during transport.

What do you get?

  • The soft surface helps reduce marks on the print.
  • Woven stripes facilitate even positioning and control of the mesh.
  • You replace the mesh while maintaining a functional and compliant backing.

What should you look out for?

Original requires proper clearance and periodic adjustment. Too much tension or too much slack can cause marks. Check the backing and mountings before purchasing.

Mesh and conductive backing

Super Blue 2

Consider Super Blue 2 when you need a complete sheet marking reduction system. The mesh works with a conductive, low-friction backing that helps dissipate static electricity.

What do you get?

  • You limit the contact of the wet print with the cylinder surface.
  • The backing facilitates sheet slippage and limits the accumulation of charges.
  • You select a set for a specific machine model.

What should you look out for?

Check if you need the full kit or just a replacement net. The backing and the mesh have different functions; Replacing the mesh alone will not repair the damaged underlayment.

Super Blue 2LT Integrated Blue Kit

Integrated replacement kit

Super Blue 2LT

Choose Super Blue 2LT when you want to simplify the replacement of your anti-marking system. In the LT2 variant described by the manufacturer, two meshes and a backing form one integrated set.

What do you get?

  • You assemble a kit prepared for a specific machine.
  • After wear, you replace the set instead of renewing its surface by washing.
  • You combine marking protection with limiting sheet static electricity.

What should you look out for?

2LT does not mean the Original mesh itself. Before ordering, confirm the set variant and the number of elements needed for a given cylinder. Don’t choose it solely by sheet format.

Anti-marking film with glass microspheres

Blue Glass

Consider Blue Glass when you need a film to protect wet print during sheet transport. Glass microspheres limit the contact surface with the fresh print and evenly support the substrate.

What do you get?

  • You limit the sheet marking on the cylinder surface.
  • You can clean the foil and reuse it after washing.
  • You select a sheet, roll or ready-made sleeve for mounting the machine.

What should you look out for?

Blue Glass is a foil, not a mesh. Do not apply the Original tensioning principles to this surface. When selecting, check the ball size, thickness and cylinder requirements. Confirm the washing method and cleaning agent for a specific version.

Construction and selection

Surface Glass microspheres with a protective coating
Ball variants Small and Large – selection for use
Implementations Sheets, rolls and ready-made T-shirts
Montage Clamps or double-sided tape, depending on the version
Application Transfer, delivery and diverting cylinders; compliance requires confirmation

How to choose mesh or foil and get a quote?

Enter the manufacturer, model, format and serial number of the machine. Indicate the cylinder and mounting position. Include a photo of the mountings and a marking of the current mesh, if you have it.

Describe the marks on the print, the type of paper and the paper used process inks. We will help you determine whether you need mesh, foil, underlay or a complete set. We will confirm the price and availability for the selected variant.

Meshes are not a substitute offset blankets nor control the drying of the ink. If the sheets are set-off in a stack, check also the difference between set-off and blocking.

Selection questions and practical limits

Is an anti-marking jacket a substitute for ink drying?

No. It helps manage contact during sheet transfer within its intended application. However, it cannot correct unsuitable ink, excessive ink film or an incorrect press setting. Check the cause of marking before replacing the covering.

What should I provide when ordering Super Blue?

Provide the press model, transfer position and dimensions of the existing covering. Also identify the current version and ink technology. Similar appearance alone does not confirm that two jackets are interchangeable.
